Looking to maximize horsepower on your factory engine, a turbo upgrade is the best Dollar to HP gained modification you can do for your FRS/BRZ/86. The Speed By Design (SBD) Turbo Kit will safely allow you to add 125+ HP on the 100% factory fuel system. An upgraded clutch is usually recommended but not required on a manual transmission. The factory automatic transmission is 100% okay. On 91/93 octane @ 10 PSI, you can expect 300-325whp depending on exhaust modifications elected. On E85 Ethanol, power levels up to 400whp are capable with upgraded fuel modifications on the 100% factory engine. On E85 Ethanol, power levels up to 500whp are capable with upgraded fuel modifications on a built engine.
