Can't tell if it did anything for performance, but the sound generator removal makes the ride less noisy and more enjoyable. Great product, easy install, everything included.

Buy it just to get rid of all the junk under the hood

Installation was easy. I did have to remove 5/8" from the air box end of the tube to get clearance from the the serpentine belt. I also removed all of the sound generator tubing and plugged the cabin access with a 3/4" PEX plug from the inside. This cleaned up the engine compartment quite a bit and improved access to the front of the engine on the passenger side. No noticeable change in engine performance and it hasn't been installed long enough to measure any changes in fuel economy.

Great quality product from Perrin, better airflow for a simple upgrade. It also fits the Grams ETB, but had to buy a bigger hose clamp.

I paired this great product with the Grams 72mm BBTB and I had to heat the tip up with a heat gun to get it to expand and fit the Grams, I also had to buy a bigger hose clamp. All in all, I love this, I can definitely feel a quicker response from my car, now all I need is a tune.

Easy removal of sound generator and oem inlet hose, the install was pretty easy except the two hose clamps are way too short. I have too buy new a clamps at the auto store so i can install it good, For future next costumer... Perrin can you guys please send the right size of clamps for scion frs. The hose clamps the came with the perrin inlet hose was way too short. thats really messed up. i've tried every single angle and still won't fit (smdh) other than that i've noticed the throttle respone is way better.
